The practice of Reiki was founded by Japanese healer, Mikao Usui in the early 1900’s. To put it simply, Reiki is a system of healing that is both uncomplicated and powerful. It helps to calm the mind and relax the body. By working to restore the natural peaceful balance of the body, mind, and spirit Reiki helps to heal the whole person even as it helps that person to heal themselves.
